Here at devon yurt,  we aim to create a holiday where we take the stress out of your packing and preparation, enabling you to truly enjoy a luxurious camping experience, more recently known as glamping or cosy camping. We provide for you – an oak doored, circular tented room, complete with log burner, kindling, firelighters and matches and a basket of logs for your first night, a full sized bed, plus extra beds as necessary, sheets and pillows, a laundry facility with eco friendly powder supplied, warm washing up area in the shower house in addition to each yurt having their own Belfast sink,  solar showers,  a modern wet room style shower overlooking dartmoor, a bath tent,  complete with roll top bath ( flag ! – all will be explained ! ) a further log burner to warm your bath complete with a log supply, a private toilet facility,  barbeque area and both outdoor and indoor seating for your meals,  sun jars to light your rooms at night,  tea lights and lanterns, all cooking implements,  barbeques and stoves, pans, kettles, crockery and cutlery, teatowels,  and cloths,  cool boxes and freezer packs – oh,  and a freezer to  re – freeze them !

We also have a collection of books and games for  you to borrow,  local maps, walking trails,  guides to the area and recommendations of things to do and places to visit.

   You may choose to climb a tor,  walk a gorge,  kayak a river,  fish in one of the many lakes, rivers or the sea nearby,  horse ride at Mary tavy,  Take a cycle ride along the granite way.  Try a walk in the tree tops at tree surfers,  visit the eden project,  or simply enjoy a meal at one of the many award winning pubs and restaurants in the area.
